I’m sure all of you on the left watched that fluff piece on TV tonight coming from “that one.”  I just happened across it tonight as I was waiting for the World Series to come on.  I thought I was just watching a quick political ad before I realized it was a stupid-assed infomercial.

How pathetic is that?  That is such a damned disgrace to the highest office in this country that a candidate has to have an infomercial to state his case!  I watched it for a little bit - just enough to realize that he will drive this country in to the ground if he gets elected.  This asshole thinks he’s already the President for crying out loud - did you notice that backdrop that has the appearance of being the Oval office?

The only thing this infomercial proved to me is that he’s running scared because the polls are tightening.  In no time in the history of this country has ANY Presidential candidate ever stooped so low and commercialize the campaign.  He advocated Universal Healthcare which we all know is based on rationing of services.  If any of you guys bought in to this bullshit - I feel sorry for you.  DO YOU NOT KNOW WHO YOU ARE SUPPORTING?  Look at his history!  You can’t tell me you believe his lies do you?

Do you not understand his tax plan?  He says it’s about helping the middle class. His tax plan will HURT the middle class!  Wake up people!  Did you notice how he lowered it from $250,000 to $200,000 now?  Who’s to say he’s not going to keep lowering that ceiling amount?  So, if you’re middle class - you think you won’t get hurt by his tax plan?

Hmm..let’s see - who has the lion’s share of the money in 401(k) savings plans?  Oh..that’s right - the middle class.  Forget about all the talk about Democrats doing away with your 401(k) - let’s assume nothing happens to it.  Here’s what happens to your 401(k) under Obama’s plan -

He raises the capital gains tax - yes - your 401(k) is subject to this tax that goes up to 28% from 15%.  Everything you earn above the amount you contributed is subject to that tax.  He takes almost 1/3rd of your earned interest.

He raises the inheritance tax - yes - your 401(k) is subject to the inheritance tax - that goes up to 55% from 0% under his plan.  Should you die and have any funds left in your 401(k) half of what is left goes to the government.  You can’t pass on the remaining balance to your heirs.

Here are other things WE middle class people need to think about with regards to his so-called tax cuts -

Are you one of the fortunate people who were smart enough not to buy in to one of those interest only or ARM loans and own your home?  Good for you.  Guess what happens when you sell that house?  Yup - the difference between what you bought the house for and what you sell it for is subject to Obama’s capital gains tax.  You lose 28% of the profits on the sale of your house.

Income/Payroll taxes go up from  37.4% to 52.2%.  The biggest increase is in the Medicare and Social Security taxes coming out.  This means you have less take home pay - and - it can’t be recovered or claimed on your return in April

Do you work for a company that has an Employee Stock Purchase Plan?  Those are great.  You can buy stock in your company usually at a 15% discount.  You’ve been working for that company for years and have been amassing your small fortune in the company’s stock.  In the meantime - you’ve been earning dividends on those stocks - under Obama’s plan you are now taxed 39.6% on those dividends up from the current 15% rate.  Now, it’s time for you to retire and cash those out - under Obama’s plan you get hit by the capital gains tax again.  The capital gains is calculate at the price of the stock when you purchased it - but at the discounted rate you paid - you get hit by the 28% capital gains tax again!

Now - here’s the great thing about that tax plan for the middle class - guess who REALLY benefits?  Those 40% of this country that pay NO tax.  How is that you say?  Let me break it down for ya:

These are all simplified numbers:

Throughout the year you paid $8,000 in taxes.  When you do your income tax at the end of the year there are 1 of 3 things that could happen.  1.) you get a refund.  Let’s say that after you take in to account all the tax credits Obama gives you - your actual tax liability is $6,000.  You get $2,000 back!  Okay!, 2.) After all the tax credits, it turns out your tax liability is $8,000 - you break even - no refund, no payment, or 3.) After all the tax credits, it turns out you’ve had too little taken out and your actual tax burden was $8,500 - you have to pay $500 to the IRS.  In all cases - you still had a tax burden.

Now - for those 40% who effectively pay no taxes - here’s how it works out for them:

Over the year - they paid $4,000 in taxes.  When they do their taxes at the end of the year it turns out their tax burden was actually $0.  So, they would get that $4,000 refund.  They will never be at a point where they had too little taken out because they had not tax burden to begin with.  They can’t break even because taxes have been taken out.  To break even - they would have had no income taxes taken out of their check the entire year.  But - with the extra tax credits that Obama gives them - the get a net negative tax burden.  They get an extra $500 under the EIC, they get an extra $500 under the employed worker tax credit, and the get an extra $500 dependent credit.  So - not only do they get back the $4,000 tax refund - the get an additional $1,500 that they NEVER paid to begin with!  Where do you think that comes from?  That’s right - you - the middle class who actually ARE paying taxes and do have a tax burden.

This is wealth redistribution - or - spreading the wealth as Obama puts it.  Is this really what you want to vote for?  Do you think this is fair that you work your ass off to pay your mortgage and take care of your family and pay your taxes like you’re supposed to do - just to have Obama give it away to those who don’t deserve it just because they have a lower paying job?

And - what about his socialized housing plan he talked about in that pathetic infomercial?  You didn’t catch that?

He plans on freezing foreclosures for 90 days and changing bankruptcy courts to allow judges to revalue the mortgage price on a home. First - he helped cause the mortgage crisis.  This plan is socialized housing!  He’s interfering with business operations.  The only one’s to blame for losing their homes to foreclosures are those idiots who got in to those A.R.M.s knowing they couldn’t afford that house.

So - here you are - Mr and Mrs. Middle class - working your butt off - making your mortgage payments on time.  Your neighbor’s home is being foreclosed on because he can’t afford his mortgage payments.  Mortgage payments that he could never afford when he purchased the home to begin with.  The mortgage lender wants to foreclose on that house so they can take it over and sell it again.  Under Obama’s plan - the mortgage company is not allowed to foreclose on that house.  The mortgage company now begins to have troubles because they have a lot of homes in their inventory they aren’t receiving money on.  The mortgage company has obligations also - but - they don’t have money coming in.  Now - a judge steps in and says to your neighbor - how much is your mortgage payment?  Your neighbor says $1,200.  The judge asks him - how much can you afford?  He says - well, maybe $500.  The judge says - okay - your new mortgage payment is now $500 and the mortgage company has to devalue the loan to meet the payment.  The mortgage company is not allowed to accrue the interest.  So - again - the mortgage company is losing money - they start laying off people.

Now - you see what happened to your neighbor - and you’re asking yourself - how the hell can that be right?  Now, not only has your neighbor gotten off scott-free - because his home has been devalued - now - so has yours.  You won’t be able to sell your house at the value you thought you could because homes all around you are getting devalued because of these judges.  But - you still have to pay your full mortgage amount because you’ve been paying on time.  And…you’re still paying your taxes - and - since your neighbor was never really in a situation to afford that house - he’s also receiving rebate tax checks from you the taxpayer (see above).

If this is the kind of America you guys want to live in - the U.S.S.A. - then, by all means - vote for that socialist Obama.  But - there’s a reason he put on that infomercial - his poll numbers are slipping every day.  The latest IBD poll puts Obama at 46% and McCain at 43% with a 3% +/1 margin - a statistical tie considering he had a double digit lead last week.  There are 8% out there still uncommitted.  Last week it was at 11% - that shift went to McCain.  The polls are now showing Obama starting to lose in PA - a very Blue state.  I guess they don’t like being called racist rednecks there.

Obama had a lead in Florida last week - that now goes to McCain right now.  Same for Ohio - despite the fact they are registering homeless people and a judge today said that the homeless are allowed to register using addresses for park benches (yup - that’s right!). He’s also slipping now in North Carolina, Michigan, and Iowa.

Just saying!

I might be a little late to the party here - but - this just blows my mind!  I can’t make this stuff up.  And - Obama says he’s all for the middle-class?  If the Dems have their way - this is the biggest blow to the middle-class ever conceived.  Not only do they want to do away with our standard 401k - if Obama lets the Bush tax cuts expire - the middle-class will have to give up 55% of their 401k in capital gains taxes - and - the inheritance tax kicks in again - so - when we die - we can only pass on half of it to our heirs.  What a crock of shit!

Like I said - maybe I’m late to the game on this one - but - I guess I’ve had my head in the sand regarding this issue.  For my readers on the left there who are supporting Obama - I’m sure you guys have savings and 401(k)’s right?  Doesn’t this bother you to think that your hard-earned savings are going to be taken by the government?  If you haven’t read about this yet - I suggest you check out any one of those blogs above and get the lowdown.  In addition to changing the structure of the 401(k) - the government will change it to a program that ONLY guarantees a fixed 3% ROI.  WTF?

Considering what Obama plans on doing should he get in office, 3% won’t even cover inflation.  I make more than 3% in my own 401(k)!  Why would I want government subsidized savings also?  So - you still don’t think Obama and the Democratic Congress are socialists? Psshhh.

Over the weekend we had Biden do a complete meltdown after being interviewed by a journalist in Orlando - He couldn’t handle the tough questions that the media should have been asking from the beginning - here’s that interview:

He just flat out lies when she asks him about Obama’s position! He says it is not spreading the wealth. That’s funny considering that is the exact words Obama used when he talked with Joe The Plumber. Then, she brings up Obama’s connection to ACORN - and again he lies - saying there are no ties at all and that no money has ever been paid to ACORN. Hmmm…let’s see, he was directly employed by ACORN to train the “Get out the vote” canvassers, he was hired by ACORN as their lawyer, AND - Obama paid them $833,000 for voter registration activities. Gee - no connection there Mr. Biden!

Then - there’s this interview in Philadelphia:

Again - flat out lies! These reporters obviously have the answers already - Biden has been connected to political contributions and for giving money to firms that his son works for to the tune of $2 Million - yet - he says it’s not true. So - what was the result of these two interviews in which some journalists actually decided to grow a pair and ask the tough questions? You got it - The Obama campaign has banned any further interviews to the campaign from these stations. Gee - sounds like quashing freedom of speech to me! Obama doesn’t want the truth out there - so - he bans any TV stations who ask the tough questions and report the truth.

What do you think is going to happen in this country if Obama gets elected? Do you think there will be screening of all questions before anyone in his administration will be allowed to give public interviews? Do you think an Obama administration will ban any and all media outlets that report anything negative? Wasn’t it Goebbels who advised Hitler that if you control the media - you control the people?

All of us on the right just love it when Michelle Obama gets to speak unscripted!  When you let her go - she speaks her mind - and we get an inside look into the mind of her husband as well.

We know that there have been many many things out there that media knows about Obama but just refuses to report - such as the fact that the L.A. Times has a video of Obama attending an anti-Israel meeting with Rashid Khalidi but will not release it to the public.  Please check out that link - just this alone should make people run away from him like he has the plague!

We also know that there have been lawsuits filed against Obama in several states requesting he release his true birth records since his own grandmother admitted that he was born in a Kenyan hospital and that the Honolulu hospital he was supposedly born in doesn’t have any record of his birth - but - did you hear about any of this in the MSM?  Nope - if you heard about it, it came from blogs, Rush, or Michael Savage.

Now - we have this from the African Press International (API) - let’s hope the media over here actually does report and release!

Michelle Obama admits, husband Barack stealing American election, just like his cousin Raila Odinga tried to do in Kenya

Here’s the excerpt from her phone conversation that the API has promised to release before the election:

“African press International is supposed to support Africans and African-American view” -“it is strange that API has chosen to support the racists against my husband. There is no shame in being adopted by a step father. All dirt has been thrown onto my husband’s face and yet he loves this country. My husband and I know that there is no law that will stop him from becoming the president, just because some American white racists are bringing up the issue of my husband’s adoption by His step father. The important thing here is where my husband’s heart is at the moment. I can tell the American people that My husband loves this country and his adoption never changed his love for this country. He was born in Hawaii, yes, and that gives him all the right to be an American citizen even though he was adopted by a foreigner; says Michelle Obama on telefon to API.”

The emphasis here is mine.  She calls anyone who opposes her husband a racist!  She feels they are ABOVE THE LAW and she admits that Obama was adopted by his step-father - which is one of the main issues of the lawsuit that has been filed.  As an Indonesian citizen - he has to actively renounce that citizenship - which he has not done.

Also - note her very first sentence!  She doesn’t care about any of the white people voting for her - again proving Obama’s agenda is only to further black-Americans - not ALL Americans.

Here is more of what the API is expected to release from that telephone conversation -

API Reports - “When API asked Mrs. Obama to comment on why Dr Corsi was arrested by the Kenyan government and whether she thought Kenya’s Prime Minister Mr. Raila Odinga was involved in Dr Corsi’s arrest, she got irritated and simply told API not to dig that which will support evil people who are out to stop her husband from getting the presidency.”

API Reports – “When asked who she was referring to as the evil people, she stated that she was not going to elaborate much on that but that many conservative white people and even some African Americans were against her husband, but that this group of blacks were simply doing so because of envy.”

I urge you all to please go check out the link provided here - and - if you are thinking about voting for Obama - please REALLY REALLY think about what Michelle is saying here.  If you are white and not voting for her husband - you are a racist.  If you are black and voting for her husband - you’re just jealous.  There is no law in this country than can stop him from being President (hmm..I guess she doesn’t believe in The U.S. Constitution) - and - the only people in this country that the Obama’s really care about are African-Americans.

In my previous post I put up some graphic pictures of some of the violent images coming from our “tolerant” friends on the left.  Well - this is even worse!

Note the lovely “B” inscribed on her face. Read the WHOLE story here . Apparently, she was mugged as she was taking out money from an ATM. When he was done robbing her, he saw the McCain/Palin bumper sticker - turned around and started beating the daylight out of her - then carved “B” on her face with a knife. Gee - what do you think that stands for? Barack maybe?

Oh..I’m not done yet. You level-headed folks on the left need to speak out about this kind of stuff - it’s getting out of hand.

And..here’s a story of a guy who found the letters KKK carved in to the side of his car, AND they burned an American flag on top of it - just for having a McCain/Palin sticker.

Do I really need to link to the multiple stories of the Code Pink whack job who crashed a Mortgage Lender’s meeting and tried to place handcuffs on Karl Rove?  You guys are getting WAY over the top.  This in your face shit is gonna get you guys hurt.

How about this crap? Now there’s another fringe group out there calling themselves “Red Pill” (I assume it’s a reference to The Matrix) - but - now protesters are running out in front of moving cars?  If I were the driver - I would have run their asses over.

Remember - we’re the pro-2nd Amendment people!!!!  Here, in Florida, we have The Castle Doctrine - and - that law has been expanded to the general public areas as well.  Not only are we allowed to have concealed weapons permits - we’re also allowed to defend ourselves if we feel we are in danger regardless of where we at.  If one of you nutjobs approach me on the street for wearing my McCain/Palin shirt - better think twice about making a move.  I’m not about to let you idiots attempt to make a victim of out me!

With everything else going on - we don’t need idiots like this out there making shit up.  It’s just pathetic!

With McCain slowly creeping back up in the polls and tightening the race with only two weeks left - there have been some strange things happening that says only one thing to me:  God must be on his side cuz he needs a miracle right now since those with BDS have their heads buried in the sand as it relates to Obama and his history.

1st - In an impromptu moment - Obama talks to a regular guy on the street during a neighborhood canvas - and the rest of the country get’s to see the REAL Obama when he starts talking about “spreading the wealth” - He showed his marxist tendencies.

2nd - After that meeting - the main stream media barreled down on Joe Wurzelbacher like he was an enigma - as a result - it started a movement across this country - I AM JOE! that is picking up steam.

3rd - John Murtha comes out last week and calls his own constituents racist.

4th - His own Vice President announces over the weekend that if Obama gets in office there WILL be a major international incident within the first 6 months - cuz the enemies will want to test him!

5th - Former Secretary of State Albright comes out the next day and states the same thing that Biden said.

6th - Some of the media are actually beginning to speak out about the blatant media bias - especially in light of Biden’s statement over the weekend.

7th - The media actually decides to bring to light a June 2008 speech from Qaddifi where he calls Obama a Muslim and announces his support for Obama.

8th - In a report yesterday - The 2007 Kenyan President candidate that vowed to convert Kenya to an Islamic nation, institute Sharia law, and ban Christianity announces that Obama helped him raise $1 Million for his campaign.

All I can say is - keep it up guys - it appears that you are doing everything you can now to tank your own candidate!  With friends like these - The GOP doesn’t need to do anything!!!

I can’t believe the pure hatred that is coming from the left over there!  I thought you guys were supposed to be the tolerant ones.  Now, don’t get me wrong - I don’t automatically put everyone on the left in this category - but - there are just so many out there - it’s absolutely mindboggling!

How could anybody justify these kinds of shirts?  There isn’t anything this vile coming from the right.

Seriously, are there any of you guys on the left there than can come up with anything as viscious as this coming from the right? Where’s the tolerance? Or - what about Sandra Bernhard’s statement that if Palin comes in to NYC she hopes that she would get raped by some big black brothers?

Before you go on to say that there have been instances where people have stated “kill him” with regards to Obama at McCain and Palin rallies - that has already been refuted by the Secret Service and local law enforcement officers at the rallies.  They have said that not one undercover secret service member or other law enforcement officers ever heard such statements.  The news reports were falsified (no surprise here regarding the biased media).

If you google “I hate Sarah Palin” you get 653,000 links.  Good lord people - what has she done to illicit such hatred from you guys on the left?  Again, I thought you liberals were supposed to be the ones who are so tolerant - WTF?

I know - this must be very disappointing for Bill and 3Degrees and KatieAnne since they just can’t wait for me to post something up either pro-McCain or anti-Obama just so they can come by here to add their 2 cents!  I know they wait on pins and needles every day just waiting for me to put something up here!

Well, sorry guys - I need a break - just for tonight.  Instead - gonna take a page from 3Degrees up there and pass some love around to some of our fellow Today.com bloggers - those other blogs that I’ve either discovered through EntreCard or through the Today.com boards that I like to read - kinda help them out a bit.

This one’s for you Bill - considering you called this last night!

By now - every one of us has probably seen Joe Wurzelbacher all over the talk shows today - in addition to the press conference he gave outside of his home today.  Joe The Plumber is the every day Joe America who just wants a piece of the American dream and he called out Obama on this on Tuesday - and that soundbite hit the airwaves immediately.

Obama showed his true socialist tendencies in his response to Joe.  Joe is concerned that Obama’s tax plan would tax punish his success.  Obama’s response (totally paraphrasing here) is that he believes that if Joe makes it, then everyone who follows behind Joe should be able to make it..and the way to do that is to “spread around the wealth.”  In that one conversation - Obama has shown that he will increase taxes and will then redistribute those taxes to the poor - the ones who aren’t doing the hard work to be successful.  This is indeed socialism at its best.  This is not what this country was founded on.

Once Joe The Plumber started hitting the circuit and really telling it like it is on every topic from taxes to the war in Iraq - it didn’t take very long for the Obama media to start blasting this guy.  The Obama campaign and the media are attacking Joe The Plumber for speaking out against Obama.  When they are attacking him for his beliefs - they are attacking the rest of us who just want to succeed without government interference.

The cry from the media and from Biden now is that Joe The Plumber doesn’t make $250,000/year and in fact would get a tax break under Obama’s plan.  This is where Obama, you guys on the left who support his socialist ideology, and the media just got it all wrong.  You don’t understand middle-America - and you don’t understand what Joe was getting at.  Joe NEVER said he was making $250,000 a year.  What Joe said is that he has been busting his ass to be successful and to be able to buy the business from his employer.  Joe has plans to grow that business.  Joe has plans to hire more employees to become successful and make it on his own.  Joe’s point was that should he in fact build his business, Obama will tax him for becoming successful.  Not only would Obama tax him for becoming successful, under Obama’s health care plans - now Joe would be required to pay for health insurance for his employees or be fined even more!

Joe pointed out the great flaw in Obama’s plan.  Obama’s health insurance plan and tax plan does indeed discourage growth and success.  Who in their right mind would want to grow a business to the $250,000 point and beyond knowing what is in store for them?  The Small Business Administration reports that 50.9% of all businesses in this country are small businesses and employ 65% of the entire workforce.  Of that 50.9% - 25% make $250,000 and above - that means that 75% of small businesses don’t make $250,000 - not the 98% that Obama and Biden keep saying.

Under Obama’s plan - none of those small businesses will want to grow.  Obama’s plan discourages growth which means there will be less jobs and less tax revenue coming in.  Joe aptly pointed out in his interview today that who’s to say that Obama won’t decide one day that $250,000 isn’t low enough?  Who’s to say that Obama won’t decide to lower that amount to $150,000.  Under Obama’s plan - that is possible.

Joe The Plumber has so clearly and succinctly stated to the entire nation what John McCain could not.  It is for this reason that I believe once it sinks in with all those independents and small business owners who want to succeed - there will be a shift towards McCain.  Both Zogby and Rasmussen are reporting Obama with a 4 point and 5 point lead (respectively) which is still within the margin of error.  The Independents are the key to this race - and - it looks like now that Obama slipped up and made his socialist policy of wealth redistribution known publicly - they will start running from him.

Finally!!!  Although I don’t really like Bob Schieffer on PBS because he is such a Democrat partisan shill with a “journalism” job paid for by we the taxpayers - he at least conducted a most excellent debate.  He threw out some tough questions to both candidates - and actually made them answer the questions posed to them.

Additionally, I really liked the way he controlled the debate and the time allotted - unlike that miserable failure - Tom Brokaw.

Again - I didn’t see a clear winner in tonight’s debate.  McCain stumbled through his answers.  He started off really strong - and I could really appreciate his response to Obama when he said “I am not President Bush.  If you wanted to run against President Bush then you should have done so in 2004.”  Other than that, he came off flat.  He put some really great questions to Obama - but failed to follow through when Obama side-stepped the issues - especially on Ayers and ACORN.  He let Obama flat out lie - and did not pin him down on it.

Obama - did we he had to.  He just got by.  He flat out lied on several of his answers - that even Bob Schieffer - to his credit - pointed out.  Hopefully, some of the people picked up on his proclivity to “bend the truth.”  He pretty much stuck to his talking points again and did not say anything new either.

So - overall - I would rate this as the best debate of the three - but that was entirely due to the moderator.  Again - nothing new learned about either candidate.
