The Dems are now suffering from Palin Derangement Syndrome!

Published by BobO at 3:27 pm under politics Edit This

First - before I get in to that - I wanted to announce that I’ve been given two more awards from The Natural State Hawg !

Thanks, Dude!  We get to pick which one’s we want!  LOL.  I already have the Kick Ass Blogger and the Weblog awards - so - I’m going to pick up the Brainy Blog Award and the I Love Your Blog awards.  I’ll post those up later.

Now - for the title of this post!  I want to thank First Door on the Left for giving me this brilliant idea for a post!  He commented in one of his previous rants against McCain and Palin that he came across another post talking about PDS - I wonder why he didn’t actually provide the link to it?  So - I got to thinking about the huge smear campaign that the Dems, those really whacked out lefties, and the biased main stream media are attempting to perpetrate against Palin.  It seems that no matter what evidence is provided proving their smears to the contrary - it just isn’t enough.  We already know they suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome which is categorized under the DSM-IV as:

An individual who suffers from an intense hatred of President George W. Bush that it leads the individual into combinations of deep manic depressive states culminating in near psychotic and episodic breaks in reality.  Such individuals who suffer from Bush Derangement Syndrome will refuse to participate in any reasonable arguments that may contradict an inate, unsubstantiated, personal belief regarding any issue presented before him.  It is said that BDS first presented itself after President George W. Bush defeated Vice President Al Gore in a fair presidential election in the year 2000.  There were only a handful of individuals who actually presented with such symptoms over the next four years.  However, after soundly defeating Senator John F. Kerry in the 2004 elections, a large majority of the population who identify themselves as being Democrats adopted a lunatic fringe stance against anything that could be related to President George W. Bush, and went so far as to associate totally unrelated issues and circumstances with the President.  The professional opinion is that Bush Derangement Syndrome will only be cured after January 2009 when President Bush leaves office.

Okay - given this - it appears that this lunatic fringe is not done!  Now that McCain/Palin have taken a COMMANDING lead in all of the polls and there is a real fear that the Obamessiah WILL be dethroned, they are already setting their sites on Palin.  The same psychotic and unreasonable symptoms of BDS are now clearly present as it relates to anything that is Sarah Palin.  I am sorry to say, BDS is migrating to PDS.  Personally, I think the only way to eradicate these derangement syndromes is to just ship the whole lot of them over to (pick your favorite socialist/communist country).  They won’t be happy until we are all living in the United Socialist States of America!

Quoting John Fund is about as smart as quoting Herbert Hoover. Again, why won’t you guys talk about the issues?

Issues are important but winning is paramount in politics. That’s why I like it so much. I can appreciate the black-and-white aspect of it. The party that loses in November will have little opportunity to shape the issues the way it wants for at least the next two years. Win by any means necessary. Then, decide how to fix the problems. That’s the reality.

I’ll stop bugging McCain and Palin when they start answering what stance they’ll take on foreign policy (no one’s trying to “stump” you, Sarah) and the worsening economy (are you ready to endorse government regulation, John?).
