Code Pink Crybabies!

Published by BobO at 12:35 am under politics Edit This

Okay - this is just too funny!  I was going to talk a little bit about Michelle Obama’s speech - but - I figure that’s probably been done to death by now!  We know, we know - it was all teleprompted…she gives great speeches…but if she has to give a speech on her own, somehow it comes back to how much she actually hates this country despite the fact she received a standing ovation the other night for stating she loves this country!  Hoo rah!

I was also going to talk about Ted Kennedy’s speech.  First - I give the guy credit for actually showing up and giving his speech given his condition.  But, really?  He pretty much turned the place in to a “cry-fest” and using the old sympathy card to try and score points for Obama.  Way to go, Teddy!  Been down to the Chappaquidic lately?

But - then I came across this video…so awesome!  Those Code Pink loonies finally getting it thrown back at ‘em!

Poor widdle pinky got twone down on da gwound! Oh Boo Hoo Hoo!  Cry Maybe she should have stayed where she was supposed to!  Notice the great hockey check!  Then - to top it off - she gets arrested!!!!

Anyway, being a strong supporter of our military - I really hate these whacko loonies that protest our injured soldiers.  They’re almost as bad as Phelps’whacked out church!  I’m sure someone out there is crying police brutality - but - hey - does anybody else out there think she deserved this?

I vote - YES! Laughing

Stumble It!

You really dont think the constitution is is an important piece of parchment???? Are you really an American?!? Im appalled at your willingness to give up your rights and those of your country men! You should be ashamed.

So - just what part of the constitution do you think was violated there? Certainly not her free speech. She was allowed to protest - as long as she stayed in her zone. Do you mean the part of the constitution regarding peaceable assembly? Does it look to you like she was assembling peaceably? Didn’t look that way to me. Nutjobs like you who think that violent protesting is okay are the one’s who got it all wrong. These code-pink nutjobs are un-American by causing protesting our injured soldiers and stopping our military from doing their jobs.

You nutjobs wouldn’t have the ability to protest if it wasn’t for our soldiers out there defending your rights around the globe and keeping democracy alive. So - who’s un-American here? If you agreed with that freakjob - then you’re the one who should be ashamed of yourself.

Holly - okay..are you finished? Good. Now, go get me a beer! One has nothing to do with the other. This is about a pinko leftist protestor who stepped beyond her boundaries and got slapped back for it. They no more have rights to infringe and break the laws that you or I. That police officer issued a lawful order and she disobeyed. She suffered the consequences as a result.

I don’t see any evidence in this video that this protester was inciting violent protest, and I am rather appalled by the joy “Pauly” expresses at watching a fellow American being knocked down to the ground by expressing her opinion. It seems contradictory to me to hold such American values as freedom of speech sacred and support a war to spread such ideologies around the world, yet revel in watching such civil liberties be encroached upon within one’s own country. Just because a police officer issues an order, it doesn’t mean that that order is respectful of one’s civil liberties. Even people in authority are capable of being swept away by patriotism and fear in times of war, and it is our duty as RESPONSIBLE and INFORMED citizens to stand up for our civil liberties. As a sidenote, Pauly, I would check your “facts” about CodePink. Referring to CodePink members as “pinkos”, although “punny”, is entirely inaccurate. CodePink is a nonpartisan group advocating nonviolent diplomacy, using nonviolent protest to achieve their ends through legal reform. Not Communists. In fact, not even close. I would hesitate to take such a strong stance against certain political and social groups before knowing the basic facts about them.
